Nikhilraj is a Playback singer in Malayalam film industry. He has been doing fusion shows and jamming with various famous bands of Kerala.
A graduate in music from RLV Music College, Tripunithura, Nikhilraj is a popular name among the young generation. He is currently pursuing an MA in Carnatic Classical music.
He was the semi finalist of IDEA Star Singer 2007 in ASIANET which was the most popular version of the show. In 2010, he was the 1st runner up of AMRITA TV Superstar, a very popular music reality show. His first song in the popular movie 'RATHINIRVEDAM' has won several awards including the best upcoming singer award of Radio Mirchi, Vayalar Award and Metro Manorama award etc.
Currently he is assisting Shri. M Jayachandran in his composing sessions.
