A dedicated performer and teacher, she enriches the cultural community through her teachings and roles, including her position at RLV Government College of Music and Fine Arts.
Krishnapriya began her musical journey at the age of four under the guidance of her cousin sister. For the past 16 years, she has trained with Sri Nedumkunnam Vasudevan, honing her skills in Carnatic music. Her dedication led her to pursue a BA and MA in music from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, where she graduated with a commendable second rank.
Continuing her musical education, she studied under esteemed mentors Smt. Vedarashmi Anil and Dr. NJ Nandini. Krishnapriya is the founder of Sangita Vardhani, a music school offering both online and offline classes, where she shares her passion for Carnatic music with students.
A recipient of the Kerala Sangita Nataka Academy Scholarship in both 2022 and 2023, she has established herself as a prominent artist, performing at various temples and venues. In addition, she serves as a supporting artist in the vocal Bharatanatyam department at RLV Government College of Music and Fine Arts, Thrippunithura.
With a commitment to her craft and a deep passion for music, Krishnapriya continues to inspire others while enriching the cultural landscape through her performances and teachings.
